COVID-19 WAIVER AND PROCEDURES

Assumption of the Risk and Waiver of Liability Relating to COVID-19/Coronavirus:

The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. As a result, federal, state, and local governments and federal and state health agencies recommend social distancing. SHED Barber and Supply (“SHED”) has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, SHED cannot guarantee that you will not become infected with COVID-19. Further, visiting SHED could increase your risk of contracting COVID-19.

“By booking online and agreeing to our booking policies, I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk I may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by visiting SHED and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at SHED may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, SHED employees and clients. I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury myself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I may experience or incur in connection with my visit to SHED. On my behalf I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless SHED, its employees, agents, and representatives, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of SHED, its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after any visit to SHED.”

Client Procedures
-Masks are required inside the shop. Please bring your own mask or you can purchase one from us for $1.
-Our waiting area is closed for now. Please call the shop when you arrive to check in and please come to your appointment alone.
-No cash will be accepted, all payments must be made by credit card or gift card. Please call the shop prior to your appointment if you are unbanked to arrange payment.
-If you have symptoms, are feeling unwell, or have measured a temperature above 100F prior to your appointment please call us to reschedule. There will be no cancellation fees applied for this.

Please note that we can only accept cancellations via phone. You can also cancel your appointment online from the confirmation email you received. We cannot make any changes to appointments via email, text, or social media.

Cancellation Policy:
We understand that plans change and things come up that might cause you to miss your appointment. In order to serve all of our clients as best we can we require 3 hours notice to cancel or reschedule appointments so that we have ample time to book another client in that spot. Changes made less than 3 hours before an appointment are subject to a fee of 50% of the total services booked. No call/no shows or last minute cancels (less than 60 minutes prior) are subject to the full amount of services booked.

Late Arrival Policy:
We optimize our books for each barber in order to serve as many clients as possible. For that reason it is imperative to arrive on time for appointments. We are unable to complete any service if a client arrives more than 10 minutes late (5 minutes for beard trim-only) to an appointment. For late arrivals we are happy to find another time that works. Please note that late arrivals are subject to charges of up to 100% of the total services booked.
